Lauren is our exceptionally gifted founder and the visionary behind The Heart of Beauty. With over 24 years experience, she has a wealth of knowledge and always has everybody’s best interest at heart. Lauren truly believes in bringing out the inner beauty in every one of her clients and always gives 100% to ensure those around her feel their absolute best.

A meticulous eye for detail, Lauren has a flair for minimalist, relaxed and luxe design which led her to entrust in interior designer Noël Coughlan of NC Interiors. Together they have created the epitome of excellence, a space that invokes a sense of calm and warmth upon entering, whilst simultaneously providing a clinical aesthetic for the community to be treated in with the utmost care.

Lauren takes incredible pride in all that she does, choosing world renowned paramedical skincare company Danne’ Montague King (DMK) as her formulation of choice. Their philosophy is to Remove, Rebuild, Protect and Maintain. A four-step process to bring the skin into homeostasis in line with the natural chemistry of the body and promote optimal health of the function of the skin. Her ‘can’t live without’ prescriptives from the DMK range are the Milk Cleanser and Revitosin. Together they work in synergy to deeply cleanse and clear congestion, and increase cellular turnover leaving the skin visibly smoother, even in texture and colour.

When Lauren is not in the clinic, she loves to be immersed in nature and looks forward to self-care Sundays at her most treasured spot on the coast, the Noosa National Park. A sunset lover, you will also find her enjoying the best part of the day with her beloved children and adorable dog.

Emma initially joined us as a client, so we already knew firsthand how passionate she was about the industry and skincare. Emma began working with us on weekends but in 2023, she made the decision to come on board with us full time.

Emma has a love for both relaxing spa and beauty treatments, as well as results-driven skin therapies. Her attention to detail, extensive knowledge, and caring, kind nature ensure that your concerns are always heard and addressed. With experience in beauty, skincare, and five-star spa services, along with her diploma in beauty therapy and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Emma brings a wealth of expertise to the team. She’s also completed advanced DMK training and is confident in delivering all treatments. Emma is passionate about continual learning and always strives to expand and refine her skills as a therapist.

On her days off, Emma enjoys spending quality time with her partner, exploring hinterland hikes, and relaxing with a good book in our beautiful local area. Her favorite product is the EFA supplement for its incredible healing and nourishing benefits. Fun fact: she’s also a secret baking pro, and a budding pottery enthusiast!

Every business owner knows how challenging it can be to find exceptional team members, and when I received Katilyn’s application, I immediately knew she would be the perfect fit for our clinic. I consider myself fortunate to have found such a gem!

Katilyn brings warmth, positivity, and a genuine passion for skincare to our team, working with us full-time. With an extensive knowledge of all things skin and a strong background in management, her favourite part of her job is helping each client feel confident and radiant in their own skin.

Katilyn and her husband made the move to the Sunshine Coast in 2021, and they fell in love with the charm of Peregian, its beaches, and the incredible community. In her downtime, you’ll find her relaxing under an umbrella at the beach with her dog, a great book in hand, while watching her husband surf.

Her favourite treatment? Laser. Katilyn especially enjoys treating leg veins, cherry angiomas, and seeing the incredible results from Laser Genesis. She honed her laser skills in NSW before relocating to Queensland, where she proudly earned her QLD Health Radiation Licence in early 2023.

Phire first applied for a job with us when she was still at school 6 years ago. I certainly wish we had of taken her under our wing earlier. Phire is extremely passionate about all things skin and beauty, this passion is prevalent in all aspects of her life and ran deep throughout her growing years. When she was young, she would go along with her mum to her appointments and was mesmerised by the world of beauty, this is where it all began. 

Through Phire’s teen years, she struggled with acne leading her to seek advice and help from professionals in the industry.  Her personal skin journey has shaped Phire into the amazing therapist she is today, with a deep level of empathy and understanding for her clients.

Phire is currently studying a Bachelor of Dermal Science as well as working in the clinic so that she can continue fine tuning her skills and assist clients further on their skin journeys. 

Phire adores DMK products and treatments, even claims that they changed her life when she started using them. Her favourite treatment is DMK Enzyme Therapy, not only because it achieves incredible results for her clients but also because it encourages her to look beyond the obvious and dive deeper into the root cause. This holistic and rounded approach is what she loves so much about DMK.

On Phire’s time off you will find her spending quality time with her loved ones, enjoying the sunshine at the beach, at Pilates, or engrossed in a good book. We certainly are lucky to have Phire on our team.

We are very fortunate to have Ashlee join our team, she is a highly skilled and passionate therapist with 10 years of experience in the skin & beauty industry. Ashlee completed her Graduate Diploma of Dermal Therapies with AACDS.

Having dealt with acne herself, her biggest passion is anything to do with the skin. Ashlee loves helping clients with any concerns & for them to achieve healthy, glowing skin. She specialises in holistic skin treatments with her favourite treatments being DMK Enzyme Therapy, NeoLifting Sculpt & Buccal Facial as well as the Qi Facial.

With a genuine care for her clients wellbeing and combining her expertise, advanced techniques, a deep understanding of skin health, she is able to provide her clients with personalised, effective results.

Ashlee is known for her loving and caring approach. She truly values the relationships she builds with her clients, ensuring each individual feels pampered, nurtured and heard.

We asked Ashlee about her days off? “I love a calm morning watching the sunrise, going to the beach, markets, coffee with friends & hiking or walking in nature.”

Lozzy is a passionate beauty therapist and the perfect person to be our new clinic coordinator at The Heart of Beauty. She is patient and kind and we know you will love her.

Lozzy brings a blend of relaxation focused treatments and results driven care to her role. She is particularly excited to work with The Heart of Beauty team and the DMK range as she believes in their ability to deliver outstanding skincare results. Her favorite product is Beta Gel with its incredible healing abilities.

She finds great fulfilment in helping clients look and feel their best, finding her career both rewarding and meaningful. With her warm personality and commitment to excellence, she is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for every client.

On days off Lozzy loves to get out and take her dogs for a walk, go to the beach, go out for brekky and catch up with friends or spend time with her husband.
